In support of the Beach Forest Development Project of LGU Bacnotan, DMMMSU and Tanggol Kalikasan, another mangrove growing activity was conducted along Baroro River, Bacnotan, La Union on November 25 2021.

A total of 412 mangrove propagules (Rhizophora species) were planted by various stakeholders from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) headed by Regional Executive Director Atty. Crizaldy Barcelo, LGU Bacnotan represented by Dr. Divina Gracia Apigo (Municipal Agriculturist), Punong Barangay Randy Macabitas of Baroro, members of the fisherfolk community, Lupon ng mga Indibidwal na Nangangalaga ng Kalikasan headed by President Camille Mandi Agotan, and DMMMSU Institute of Environmental Governance.  (CHJucutan)
