With 24 out of 32 votes, Denver N. Diocares, Vice Chairman of SLUC-CSBO, is elected University Student Council President for the Academic Year 2021-2022. Diocares won over King Leonard A. Casaclang, from MLUC, who had 8 votes.

“I am planning to make the Official USC FB page active this year. We will be conducting most of our programs and activities virtually and we will adapt those projects we initiated in SLUC such as the Sagip Kalikasan Project, Ayat KaMariano Festival, and other online activities for the students of DMMMSU,” Diocares said in an online interview.

Meanwhile, Hazel Anne A. Ramos, NLUC, won as USC Vice President with 31 votes. Furthermore, Nestor A. Lucino, SLUC, was voted as Ethical Standards Officer against Chiarmy Hsien L. Salarda, MLUC. After the election proper and proclamation of winners, Dr. Elsie M. Pacho, Vice President for Academic Affairs, led the Oath Taking and Induction of the new officers.
