The Documentation and Publication Unit of the Research and Extension Office and SRDI conducted a capability activity dubbed as “Training – Workshop on Development and Presentation of Knowledge Products for Dissemination” on June 22-23, 2021.

In this 2-day virtual training-workshop, 25 researchers and extensionists from the University learned the techniques in knowledge product development and the strategic processes of designing and packaging of knowledge product.  

During his speech, President Jaime I. Manuel, Jr. inpired and at the same time challenged the researchers to help meet the quality objectives of the University.

Ms. Delia V. Lopez, the training coordinator conveyed in her message that without outreach, the efforts of knowledge workers are wasted. She further stressed that the dissemination of knowledge is just as important as its production.

Dr. Marlowe Aquino  served as  the trainer and learning provider for the first day of the activity while the second day was reserved for the workshop and presentation of output.

After the training workshop, the participants eagerly shared their output and unanimously accepted the University’s challenge to improve the accessibility of desired knowledge products by those they are intended to reach. (ZMercado)
