Following the snagfest that was the individual category, The College Forum’s scribes pop off once more in the group categories in the first-ever National Campus Press Olympiad’s virtual awarding ceremony that was hosted on Facebook’s live streaming platform on June 27, 2021.
AOOENGC’s (TCF Team 1) members: Romar Glenn Flores, Divine Arcel T. Munar, Ailene Flores, Robert De Guzman, Gener Orencia, Jayson Javier, Roland Aquino Nadal Jr., and Menrie Arabos, placed 3rd both in Social Media Publishing and Digital Publishing which boost their overall ranking standing in Web, Social Media, and Digital Publishing and emerging as its 4th placers.
On the flipside, the AGOENGC’s (TCF Team 2) members: Esther Jireh Lomanog, Kristel Marie Ramirez, Rafael Montemayor, Aivan Jomar Gualberto, Glorielle T. Vasay, Danna Mae Marcos, Ferlene Mae Villanueva, and John Dovi Gonzales secured themselves their own 3rd place spot in the Web Publishing contest.
All three bronze places were under the Interactive Multimedia Publishing contest which ran from May 23 to 31, 2021.
Aside from that, Marjorie Villena, Xena Marie Josue, and Joanna Marie T. Alingcayon’s contest pieces, “Pangarap” and “Senyas”, won 4th and 5th places respectively in the 180-second Mobile Documentary contest that took place on May 22-31, 2021. Josue, Villena, and Alingcayon are members of the multimedia arm of TCF, Hiraya.
The College Forum’s members were all collectively relentless in their pursuit to both greatness and victory, and in doing so played a vital part in granting the Ilocos region an astounding 3rd place in the NCPO’s overall ranking. #
