The College FORUM’s #conversations crowd favourite, Gener V. Orencia of the College of Education (SLUC) adds another international merit in his shelves as his entry made it to the Top 100 in the first-ever Voice of Peace prize for poetry and anthology last May 1, 2021 with 8, 909 entries from 144 countries worldwide.

“It’s fun,” he said regarding his exploration to various writing genres. Orencia also landed 8th place in Gintong Tinta Online Writing Contest: Abortion-themed Poem Writing Category last April 10 and gathered a series of special recognitions from the event (April 6) with his piece, “Fatal Fetal”.

Orencia secured Best in Angle, Best in Title, Most Remarkable Poem, and Most Outstanding Poet. Orencia is one of The College Forum members.
