Water scarcity is again becoming a hot topic as the nation lurches into the dry season. But DMMMSU SLUC can tick this off as one of its worries because by the 3rd week of February 2021 the DMMMSU SLUC water supply system will be completed and is expected to help solve the nagging water problem in the campus. Sourced through the General Appropriations Act for 2020, the 4.8M project is part of Cong. Sandra Y. Eriguel’s determination to bring adequate water supply to the Agoo Campus. Prof. Dionisio M. Uychoco, SLUC Head of Planning maintains that as part of the project, 12 strategically located drinking fountains will also be installed. The project which was bagged by Villar General Construction and Supplies took off last February 24, 2020 but was held in abeyance due to the Covid-19 pandemic. (ZM)
