Robust partnership between the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and DMMMSU continues as officials and representatives of the DTI Regional Office I, Grace Falgui Baluyan (Regional Director – DTI-RO1), Amelia Galvez (Provincial Chief, SDD – DTI La Union), Merlie Membrere (Provincial Director – DTI La Union), Michelle de Jesus (STIDS – DTI La Union) visit the University particularly the Sericulture Research and Development Institute (SRDI).

During their visit, DTI personnel inspected machines and equipment granted by DTI through their Shared Service Facility (SSF) Program, in support of SRDI’s silk processing project, thus benefiting the various sericulture technology adopters and clientele.
