CHED supports 2 projects namely the Establishment and Upgrading of the College of Technology (COT) Academic Laboratories: 1) Establishment of complete air-conditioning trainer, 2) Refrigeration Cycle, and 3) Basic Pneumatics Training System worth Php 7,415,000.00; and the Establishment of Advance Technology Training Center for Robotics and Automation of the College of Technology of the Mid La Union Campus (MLUC) worth Php 19,000,000.00.

The COT academic laboratories will serve as the center for technological advancement in the Region in refrigeration, air conditioning, and pneumatics system.

The training center for robotics and automation on the other hand is envisioned to be the Training Center for Electro-mechanical technology in the Region. (Ayu)
