On November 9, 2020, NARTDI headed by Dr. Gregory B. Viste, OIC-Executive Director, hosted its first Monday Flag Ceremony separate from the Central Administration with which it used to join. The same activity will be held every first working day of the week starting 7 o’clock in the morning in front of the NARTDI building.

All apiculture employees are given equal opportunity to lead the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and DMMMSU Hymn, and recitation of the following:

• Pledge of Allegiance to the Philippine Flag (Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat ng Pilipinas);
• DMMMSU Philosophy, Vision, Mission, and Goal;
• DMMMSU Core Values, Quality Policy Objectives and Statement; and
• NARTDI Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives.

This regular Monday activity aims to empower further the NARTDI personnel composed of researchers and extensionists, administrative support staff, and field workers to memorize the statements, internalize their meanings, and apply it in their everyday performance of duties.
