Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) through its “Study Smart Program” turned over free 105 units of Smart Bro Pocket WiFi and 1000 Smart sims for students of DMMMSU at the Central Administration Office, yesterday, July 8, 2020.

The Office of Student Affairs Services will manage the distribution of these gadgets and sim cards. These will be equally distributed among the Campuses in the University where each Campus SAS Office will identify students who could avail of the said pocket wifi’s and sim cards.

On the other hand, pocket wifi’s for employees are made available and are given at a discounted price of seven hundred ninety-five pesos (Php 795).

Through the gadgets and the smart sim cards, DMMMSU can beef up its communication and information drive and equip students in their online learning. Students can also receive news and updates via text broadcast.  

DMMMSU’s partnership with SMART has been existing since 2011. This sponsorship deal was made possible through the initiatives of Dr. Stephan Kupsch, Director for UMIS. (Ayu)
