The Non-Teaching Personnel from Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) Central Administration and the National Apiculture Research and Development Institute (NARTDI) visited Cavite State University (CvSU) for a benchmarking activity on April 10, 2025.

CvSU President Dr. Ma. Agnes P. Nuestro, along with key university officials, welcomed the delegation. Dr. Valoree B. Salamanca, President of the University Non-Teaching Association (UNTA), introduced the visitors, followed by a photo session and an open forum focused on institutional governance and administration.

The discussions covered Human Resource Management, Finance, Records, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance. CvSU shared best practices, such as annual medical check-ups for employees, planned HMO enrollment, and digital initiatives like the HR Information System – a campus-wide biometric attendance tracking system and online student payment platform for continuing students. The discussions also addressed issues such as delayed procurement deliveries, with CvSU underscoring the importance of proactive supplier coordination and the establishment of regular issue-based forums as part of its mitigation strategies.

The visit concluded with guided tours of key university offices and facilities, including the Procurement and Supply Offices, Human Resource Management Office, University Registrar, University Health Services, Public Affairs and Communications Office, and the Agri-Eco Tourism Park. This initiative, facilitated by the Non-Teaching Association of CA and NARTDI, serves as a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration, reinforcing the mutual commitment of both institutions to excellence in administration and innovation. Following the benchmarking session, a session planning was conducted to enhance personnel efficiency and focus on their respective roles, as well as to promote teamwork, thereby improving collaborative efforts towards the achievement of institutional objectives.
