Baguio City, Philippines – Dr. Jomar L. Aban, Director for Publication, was invited by the Philippine Science High School – Cordillera Administrative Region Campus (PSHS-CARC) to serve as one of the evaluators for high school student researchers at the Pisay KArSI Research Festival 2025 (ResFest 2025) presentations under the theme “Relevant Innovations for Emerging Issues.”

Young scientists from Baguio City National Science High School, Saint Louis University – Basic Education School, Philippine Science High School – Ilocos Region Campus, Philippine Science High School – Cordillera Administrative Region Campus, University of Baguio Science High School, and University of the Cordilleras – Integrated School Senior High School presented their research during the festival, which took place at PSHS-CARC on March 24 and at the Baguio Convention Center on March 25.  

Dr. Aban played a key role in assessing the poster presentations and 3-Minute Research Competition (3MRC), where students defended their research findings before a panel of evaluators. (By Ayu)
