DOUS conducted a training on food safety and food handling practices for small scale business owners and fisherfolk at Sto. Rosario, Aringay, La Union last Sept. 18-19, 2019. This is to help sustain their production of tinapa and processed meat products by protecting their products from damage and contamination. Prof. Meljo Apilado served as trainer in this training which is part of the extension project called “Adopt a Barangay Program”.
