DMMMSU personnel wore orange shirts as a gesture of their support of the 18-day campaign against violence toward women.

This initiative, spearheaded by the Philippine Commission for Women (PCW), runs from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to December 10 (Human Rights Day). Its theme for 2022-2027 is “UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines,” reinforced by the sub-theme for 2024, “VAW Bigyang Wakas, Ngayon na ang Oras!”

This activity demonstrates the DMMMSU community’s commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all its stakeholders. DMMMSU firmly supports the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women in the Philippines, which aligns with the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. (by Aniway P. Millares)
