Inbound and outbound students gathered yesterday, September 23, at the Central Administration Building for the Welcoming and Turnover Ceremonies of SEA – Teacher and SEA-TVET Exchange Program (Batch 2).
A whopping number of 104 students consisting of 14 outbound SEA – Teacher participants, 11 outbound SEA-TVET delegates, 12 inbound SEA-TVET students, and 67 outbound agrostudies students were recognized by the University Director for Internationalization and Linkages, Dr. Joanne C. Rivera.
DMMMSU President, Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr., and University Vice President for Planning and Resource Development, Dr. Gil F. dela Vega, also graced the event with their presence.
Of different roots and routes, the event welcomed the 2nd batch of this semester’s SEA-TVET program and repatriated students deployed at Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Israel, celebrating a robust and active engagement in the international arena.
DMMMSU recently became a member of the SEAMEO consortium, giving access to students in joining the SEA-TVET and SEA Teacher Student Exchange programs every semester.
Meanwhile, the Agrostudies Internship Program in Israel provides an 11-month internship to students aligned in the Agricultural field. 58 students are set to participate again this year in the same cross-border endeavor.
