Juana Maria Korazon D. Escarcha, a student from the Elementary Laboratory School in the South La Union Campus, was recognized for her outstanding performance in the Kampeon iti Lengguahe 2024.

The La Union Council for Culture, Arts, and Language (LUCCAL) presented the Special Citation Award to Escarcha during the awards ceremony held at the Speaker Pro-Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Convention Center, Brgy. Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union on September 25, 2024.

Escarcha’s recognition highlights her exceptional performance in the language competition, which aims to promote the preservation and development of local languages in the Region.

The Kampeon iti Lengguahe is an annual event that gathers young participants from various schools in La Union to showcase their linguistic skills and cultural knowledge.
