Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus faculty members served as learning resource persons during the training capacity of the Philippine Air Force’s 580th Aircraft Control and Warning Wing (ACWW). The training duration was from August 12-30, 2024. 

For the Basic Radar Power Production System Maintenance Course CL 03-2024, Prof. Larry D. Marquez and Engr. Randel C. Dadag discussed Electrical Motor Controls and Overcurrent Protection Device; Mr. Arthur T. Dena-en, Jr. talked about Gas and Electric Generator; Mr. Nicardo A. Remoto and Dr. Merlito D. Flores delved into Ignition Timing Procedure and Air Induction and Exhaust System; and Prof. Leo A. Gacayan lectured on Workplace Safety Hand Tools, Power Tools and Special Tools Lubrication and Cooling System.

For the Basic Radar Cooling System Maintenance Course CL 01-2024, Mr. Zoren M. Hacosta talked about Air Conditioner (Inverter & Non-Inverter) while Prof. Edwin C. Madayag discussed Refrigerator (Inverter and Non-Inverter).

Under the Basic Integrated Command and Control, Communication and Cyberspace System Maintenance Course CL 02-2024, Dr. Arrianne Michelle F. Fabro and Mr. Denver A. Novencido discussed Fundamentals of Information Technology; Dr. Joseph A. Patacsil and Asst. Prof. Marydel C. Estira lectured on Digital Electronics, and Dr. Arnold C. Licayan and Dr. Manny R. Hortizuela discussed Computer Hardware, Software, and Networking  (Basics and Concepts).

For the Basic Radar Antenna System Maintenance Course CL 03-2024, Mr. Jemuel S. Catbagan talked about Workplace Safety, Electromagnetic Spectrum, and Electronic Fundamentals; Dr. Manolito F. Dela Cruz lectured on Elements of Radio Communication (Propagation); Mr. Michael Y. Cultura lectured on Elements of Radio Communication (Transmitter, Receiver, Modulation, Frequency Bands and Noise and Interference); Engr. Eligio Joel V. Fontanos discussed Scientific Notation, Electronic Symbols, Electric Current (AC/DC), Ohm’s Law, and Circuit Connections; and Dr. Luis M. Abrenica lectured on Measuring Instruments in Electronics.

The course facilitators include Mr. Melchor D. Guilanda (Basic Radar Cooling System Maintenance Course CL 01-2024 & Basic Radar Power Production System Maintenance Course CL 03-2024), Ms Nevy P. Gallardo (Basic Integrated Command and Control, Communication and Cyberspace System Maintenance Course CL 02-2024), and Dr. Geraldine N. Marquez (Basic Radar Antenna System Maintenance Course CL 03-2024).
