Ruby Ann C. Gali, a faculty member of DMMMSU-SLUC College of Education, won big at the 1st KaMaG-Aral National Conference held at the University of the Philippines Baguio on August 1-3, 2024.

Gali’s outstanding research presentation on “The Status of Civic Education in the Philippines: A Review” earned her the Best Oral Presenter award in the Citizenship and Civic Education category. Additionally, the same research was also recognized the Second-Best Paper award.

The First KaMaG-Aral National Conference, a collaborative effort between DMMMSU, UP Baguio, and the Social Science Research and Extension Institute, brought together leading scholars and educators in the field of Social Studies. (by Renz E. Ferrera)
