Spearheaded by the Office of the Vice President for Academic and International Affairs (OVPIA), the training aimed to pioneer sustainable pedagogy and strengthen the university’s path for the 2024-2025 academic year. The event took place simultaneously across the university’s three campuses.

Heads for Instruction discussed commitment to teaching excellence, emphasizing adherence to DMMMSU protocols. The Office of Internationalization provided updates on the university’s internationalization efforts and discussed the guidelines for the assessment of the legitimacy of foreign travel conducted by State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).
On the second day, July 24, 2024, Atty. Lily Freida C. Macabungan-Milla presented on the internationalization of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). At the same time, Dr. Al Gerald Barde facilitated sessions on developing learning plans that integrate the SDGs.
