Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC), headed by Dr. Eduardo C. Corpuz (Chancellor), responded to the challenges posed by Typhoon Carina on July 26, 2024, by donating refreshments to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of La Union.  Ms. Kristina Turco (LDRRMO Assistant) received the food items on behalf of the PGLU-PDRRMO.

This initiative aims to improve the morale and well-being of first responders and afflicted residents during severe weather conditions, demonstrating the university’s dedication to disaster response efforts and community service. (By Arrianne Michelle F. Fabro)
