Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) Open University System held an oath-taking ceremony at the DMMMSU Central Office in Bacnotan, La Union, on May 28, 2024. The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by President, Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr.

The event was facilitated by the DOUS Human Resources Management Office (HRMO), headed by Dr. Cristita G. Guerra. Witnessing the ceremony were Dr. Luzviminda F. Salamanca, DOUS Head of Instruction, and Atty. Kristine Gay B. Balanag, University HRMO and Director for Administrative Services.

The faculty members who took their oath are the following:

• Dr. Meljo Z. Apilado, promoted to Associate Professor 1
• Prof. Claudia Denise P. Barbadillo, promoted to Associate Professor 2
• Atty. Jonald F. Carrera, promoted to Associate Professor 2
• Dr. Bernardo D. Lamadrid, promoted to Associate Professor 5
• Dr. Jayson O. Madayag, promoted to Assistant Professor 4
• Dr. Romeo C. Opeña, Jr., promoted to Associate Professor 5
• Dr. Lher Verell S. Palabay, promoted to Associate Professor 2
