Seventy faculty members of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-North La Union Campus (DMMMSU-NLUC) were officially inducted into their newly promoted positions. Dr. Jaime I. Manuel Jr., University President, led the induction ceremony.
Dr. Manuel’s address underscored the importance of expanding academic horizons to elevate the institution’s standing and attract new capacities, paving the way for future promotions and advancements.
“Each individual must look into previous faculty members who strived in the academe and also in other areas and make them inspiration for everyone to strive more. Every one of us must evaluate the accomplishments of former faculty members who excelled academically and in other areas, using their achievements as inspiration to push ourselves further,” he said.
Dr. Junifer Rey E. Tabafunda extended a his warm welcome and felicitations in his opening address. The Northern Chorus and CE LHSD Rondalla graced the occasion with their performances. On the other hand, Prof. Lyza Niduaza, representing Dr. Elsie Pacho, Vice President of Academic Affairs, delivered her Words of Challenge, while Dr. Jomar Aban expressed his response, saying, “We thank the Lord for our promotion. He is the source of every good and perfect gift, including the promotion that we have received.”
The event was organized by the Faculty Association officers of NLUC, supported by Human Resources personnel. (By RMV)
