Ms. Ruby Lyn C. Narra, the Head for Library Services in the Mid La Union Campus, was recognized as the Most Outstanding Librarian in Region 1 (Academic Library Category) during the Philippine Librarian’s Associations, Inc. – Ilocos Region Librarians Council’s Awards and Fellowship Night which was held at the PLAI Ilocos Region Library on October 26, 2023.

When asked how she felt about her award, Ms. Narra beamed, saying “I’m genuinely elated and honored to receive this recognition. It’s a testament to our entire team’s hard work and dedication at the DMMMSU Library Services and Development (LSD). I couldn’t have achieved this without their support.”

Ms. Narra was also awarded as Office Worker of the Year in 2022 at the Mid La Union Campus. (By Ayu)
