DMMMSU Mid La Union Campus is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all personnel, students, and visitors. MLUC endeavors to manage risks if not prevent or totally eliminate them through the implementation of an effective traffic management systems. In light of this initiative, a general orientation for motor vehicle drivers was conducted among students, who drive their motor vehicles to the campus, and the student leaders earlier today, March 31, 2023, at MLUC Covered Court.
The orientation is deemed essential to the effective implementation of the Campus Traffic Management Guidelines which will be in full effect starting on April 3, 2023. The Campus Administrative Council led by the Chancellor, Dr. Eduardo C. Corpuz, in coordination with the CDRRMO have introduced a set of campus traffic guidelines designed to manage the use of parking spaces in the Campus. The Student Affairs and Services Unit led by its Head, Dr. Bernardo D. Lamadrid, will closely work together with the members of the CDRRM to monitor the compliance of students with this guidelines.
During the orientation program, EnP Randy Abasolo, Overall Group Leader of the City Transport and Traffic Committee Technical Working Group (CTTMC TWG) delivered a talk on Observance of City Traffic Ordinances. Meanwhile, Dr. Mary Jane B. Dulay (Head, Planning and Development) presented the MLUC Traffic Management Guidelines, and Mr. Lester Wilson M. Hufalar (In-Charge, Student Discipline) discussed the Provisions on Code of Student Discipline. (By Arrianne Michelle Fabro)
