204 nonteaching personnel participated in the Core Values Team Building Workshop at the Eriguel Hall, in the South La Union Campus, Agoo, La Union on October 13 and 14, 2022.
The 204 participants were grouped into two batches and benefited from the same Compass Program provided by Dr. Maria Bryce Fabro, Greatness Inspirer.
Morning sessions were devoted to topics discussed by Dr. Fabro herself namely: 1) Foundational Training on Mindfulness, 2) CORE Values Clarification, 3) Personal Values vs. Organizational Values, and 4) How SPECIAL can you be for DMMMSU.
Meanwhile, Mr. Jeff Menguin, Leadership Trainer, discussed on afternoon sessions the following topics : 1) Enabling a Mindset that Willfully Cooperate to Changes, 2) Developing AGILE as a Culture: Appreciate, Give, Inspire, Lead, and Enable, 3) Customer Satisfaction in the Mantle of all the Core Values, 4) Understanding the Whole-Brain Thinking for Team Success, and 5) Thriving in the VUCA World as an Agile School.
The training, which was designed by Ms. Cecilia S. Sanchez, Human Resource -L&D / GAD Coordinator in SLUC, for the participants to reconnect more deeply with their personal values; discover, understand, and accept themselves more fully at work and in life; use practical knowledge and simple techniques for personal well-being and greater self-awareness; align their own personal values along with the University’s core values; develop the right mindset in the workplace; and work together as one team in forging a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Prof. Prescilita M. Villanueva, SLUC Head for Human Resource Management, served as the team leader. Campus HRMOs namely Dr. Rahfie C. Nullar (MLUC), Ms. Judyleen M. Sanchez (NLUC), Ms. Maria Cecilia P. Fontanilla (CA), Atty. Jonald F. Carrera (OUS) served as lead facilitators. They were assisted by Campus HRs in-charge of learning and development. (Ayu)
