Three stellar debaters of the Political Science Department of the Mid La Union Campus – Joni Kay Mendoza (Prime Minister), Joselle Jea P. Armas (Deputy Prime Minister), and Jeym Rhavey C. Mendoza (Government’s Whip) emerged as champion in the “Spearing Arena: Valor of Wisdom Interschool Debate 2022” at Saint Louis College, City of San Fernando La Union on October 14, 2022.

Aside from being the champion, Ms. Joni Kay M. Mendoza was also awarded as Best Debater during the said competition. The team was coached by Mr. Fritz Krieg Allawey.  

The debate organized by Saint Louis College was anchored in the theme “Gearing the Heralds of Humanity through Professional Integrity”. Union Christian College, Lorma Colleges, and Saint Louis College are among the four (4) colleges who competed. (by May-ann Duclayan, AB Political Science student)
