DMMMSU formalized its partnership with UPLB in the conduct of academic and research undertakings through a Memorandum of Understanding. The MoU signing was done in the Office of UPLB Chancellor, Dr. Jose V. Camacho, Jr. on September 20, 2022.  

The two Higher Education Institutions intend to foster and promote faculty and researcher as well as students exchange programs; collaborative research and extension projects; lectures, symposia, and capacity-building programs; sharing of publication materials; and other academic cooperation.

Present to witness the MoU signing were Dr. Agham C. Cuevas, Ph.D. DEAN College of Economics and Management, and Dr. Rowena dT. Baconguis, Dean of College of Public Affairs and Development from the University of the Philippines Los Banos. Meanwhile, representatives from DMMMSU include Dr. Angelina T. Gonzales, Vice President for Research and Extension; Dr. Elsie M. Pacho, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Prof. Laiza T. Astodillo, Director for Instruction; Prof. Lilito D. Gavina, Director for Planning and Development; Dr. Jimilee Garcia, University Focal Person on Externally Funded Projects; and Prof. Charlie De Vera, Technical Staff in the University Planning Office.
