The Colleges of Graduate Studies of the Mid La Union Campus and the South La Union Campus subjected their programs to an accreditation survey visit by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) from March 24 to 28, 2025.

The Master of Arts in Technology and Livelihood Education, the Master of Science in Fisheries under SLUC, and the Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics Education under MLUC were evaluated via online mode.

The five-day virtual accreditation process involved rigorous document evaluations, demonstration teaching, virtual tours, and interviews with university officials, campus officials, the Deans, Program Chairs, faculty members, students, and program stakeholders.

The accreditation visit concluded with an exit conference where the accreditors presented their initial findings and recommendations. University officials reaffirmed their commitment to implementing improvements based on the evaluation.

In his closing message and statement of commitment, DMMMSU President Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr. expressed his assurance that the University will do its best to implement the recommendations of the accreditors.

“Rest assured that we commit to actualizing all your recommendations for the improvement of our programs. We believe in the essence of evaluation through the lens of your expertise as accreditors,” he said.

This accreditation survey visit marks another milestone in DMMMSU’s pursuit of globally relevant and high-quality academic programs. (By Ayu)
