Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) Mid La Union Campus (MLUC) College of Graduate Studies (CGS), led by Dr. Aloysius J. Aurelio, CGS Dean, subjected its Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics Education Program to a series of internal assessments in preparation for the First Survey visit.

The internal assessment teams from the campus and university, in coordination with Quality Assurance and Instruction units,  thoroughly reviewed the program’s curriculum, faculty qualifications, student support, research output, community involvement, library services, facilities, and administrative support to ensure that the PhD in Mathematics Education meets the rigorous standards of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP, Inc.) and aligns with its mission to provide high-quality education.

Dr. Hartwell Norman M. Merza, who led the Campus Internal Assessment Team, and Prof. Laiza A. Niduaza and Atty. Kate Potingan-Licay, who spearheaded the University’s Internal Assessment Teams, presented the assessment findings. Their comprehensive reports highlighted key areas of strength and provided actionable suggestions for future enhancements. The successful completion of this internal assessment reflects the university’s proactive approach to quality assurance and ongoing efforts to enhance educational outcomes for its students.
