Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) faculty and students joined the virtual Community and Technological (CommTECH) Nusantara 2025: Wonderful Folktales of Indonesia, hosted by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), from January 6-17, 2025. The event connected participants from 24 global universities.
DMMMSU’s student delegation, comprised of Kriseld F. Directo, Maria Antoinette Clarett Bunoan Tan, Michelle Anne D. Olivar, and Jessa Marie L. Singun from the Mid La Union Campus – College of Arts and Sciences, engaged in interactive sessions exploring Indonesian folktales, cultural significance, and cross-cultural communication. University President Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr. expressed pride in DMMMSU’s participation, emphasizing the value of cultural exchange and academic achievement.
Building on prior international engagement, including contributions from Ms. Yedda Marie S. Regacho, Prof. Mayeth G. Navasca, Prof. Veronica B. Carbonell, Mr. Daniel C. Cantoria, Ms. Krizta Madayag Cantojos, Prof. Myal A. Guba, Mr. Paul John L. Macaranas, Ms. Lisa Estepa Galvey, Ms. Roselle Joy L. Quilondrino, Mr. Eugene M. Jimenez and Ms. Daniela Anne A. Oredina in the previous year, this participation underscores DMMMSU’s dedication to international collaboration and cultural understanding.
