Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) and the University of Northern Philippines (UNP) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperative relations in education, research, and other academic exchange programs.

This MoU signifies both institutions’ commitment to undertake collaborative activities grounded on the principles of equality and within the boundaries of legal systems, ensuring mutual benefits.

Under this partnership, DMMMSU and UNP will jointly promote academic exchanges, facilitate personnel and student exchange, support reciprocal visits by professors and researchers, and promote the collaboration of research activities involving academic staff and students. Additionally, the partnership will implement joint undergraduate, graduate, and internship programs, seek grants for collaborative projects, coordinate the organization of symposia and workshops, and facilitate the exchange of publications and educational materials.

Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr., University President, and Dr. Vicky A. Agpasa, Vice President for Academics and International Affairs represented DMMMSU and Dr. Erwin F. Cardona, University President, and Dr. Rolando B. Navarro, Vice President for Academic Affairs represented UNP at the signing ceremony.
