The Legal Services Office of DMMMSU conducted a training session entitled “Sustaining World-Class Standards by Upholding Ethics, Professionalism, Good Governance, and Accountability in the University” for Central Administration (CA) personnel, at the CA Complex, Bacnotan, La Union, on February 10, 2025.

The training commenced with a thanksgiving mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Emmanuel de Leon, SVD., the University Chaplain. Following the mass, distinguished speakers led discussions. Atty. Honorio G. Buccat, Jr., Dean of the College of Law at DMMMSU Mid La Union Campus (MLUC), presented the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees as defined by Republic Act 6713. Subsequently, Atty. Allan Hil B. Pajimola, Head of the Legal Service Unit, DMMMSU-MLUC, delivered a Talk on Public Accountability and Good Governance.

This initiative provides an opportunity for the DMMMSU Central Administration community to reflect upon and reaffirm their commitment to delivering exemplary public service while upholding the provisions of existing laws. (by Aniway P. Millares)
