Dr. Joanne C. Rivera, DMMMSU South La Union Campus (SLUC) Chancellor, finished the Digital Leadership and Management Certificate Program offered by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in collaboration with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.

The three-month online program, held from September 27 to December 20, 2024, was designed to equip institutional leaders with innovative perspectives and advanced strategies in leadership, management, and the integration of artificial intelligence. It included four intensive courses: Leadership in the 21st Century, Managing and Motivating Talent, Managing the Global Firm, and Strategic Management: Competitive and Corporate Strategy. Through these courses, Dr. Rivera honed her expertise in decision-making, fostering organizational transformation, and creating collaborative and inclusive work environments.

Her participation in this program was made possible through the CHED Higher Education Upskilling and Study for Advancement of Staff and Faculty (HUSAY) Program.
