DMMMSU and Samutprakan College of Commerce and Technology (SAMTECH) formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed online on December 13, 2024.
This collaboration aims to strengthen academic ties and enhance educational initiatives in technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programs, as well as hospitality management.
DMMMSU President Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr., represented by Dr. Vicky A. Agpasa, Vice President for Academic and International Affairs, along with key officials from SAMTECH College, Thailand, led the virtual signing ceremony, marking a new chapter in the universities’ efforts to foster global partnerships.
“This MOU reflects our shared vision to empower learners and prepare them for the global workforce. By combining our strengths, we aim to offer impactful programs that address the evolving demands of education and industry,” said Dr. Agpasa during her address.
The partnership will pave the way for faculty and student exchanges, collaborative research, curriculum development, and joint initiatives tailored to industry needs. Representatives from SAMTECH College Thailand, led by Director Dr. Saranya Saenghiran and Manager and Deputy Director Dr. Paninee Saenghiran, highlighted the potential of this collaboration to drive innovation in education and training.
