DMMMSU-NLUC faculty members and staff participated in a Seminar on Preventing and Addressing Gender-based Violence and Harassment in the Workplace at the International Convention Center on November 27, 2024. 

Dr. Anny Ross A. Bayan, Quality Assurance Head, represented Dr. Junifer Tabafunda, NLUC Chancellor, and welcomed the participants as she stressed the importance of a safe and inclusive work environment.

Atty. Dexter Licay, who served as the resource person, discussed vital legal frameworks on violence against women, including the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995 (R.A. 7877), the Anti-Rape Law (R.A. 8353), and the Safe Spaces Act (R.A. 11313). The session concluded with an open forum, allowing participants to engage in a meaningful discussion.
