Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) successfully held its 3rd Income-Generating Projects (IGP) Summit on November 20, 2024.
Anchored in the theme DMMMSU Business Affairs Resource Development (BARD): We Mean Business and Optimize Resources, the event exhibited the university’s commitment to enhancing entrepreneurial efforts and resource management across its campuses.
The program commenced with an invocation led by Dr. Fely Rose B. Manaois, Coordinator for Resource Development, followed by the singing of the national anthem. Dr. Geoffrey M. Badua, Director of BARD, delivered the opening remarks.
Dr. Priscilo P. Fontanilla, Jr., Vice President for Planning and Development, inspired attendees with his message. At the same time, University President Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr., shared his vision for the university’s entrepreneurial future.
The training sessions featured four expert speakers who shared invaluable insights. Dr. Jeftee Ben B. Pinos-an, Manager of BSU Marketing Center, opened the discussions with a focus on marketing strategies. Dr. Dalifer A. Gano, Associate Dean of CHET, discussed resource optimization practices. Dr. Michael Karl M. Barnuevo, Chairperson of the Department of Entrepreneurship, shared innovative entrepreneurial approaches. Dr. Norma P. Banania, Vice President for Business Affairs, emphasized the importance of business management within academic institutions. The summit also included testimonials from BARD Heads of various campuses, sharing their successes and best practices.
The 3rd DMMMSU IGP Summit provided a platform for knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and inspiration, reinforcing the university’s drive to lead in business and resource management. (By RMV)
