Jamaica Boado, a Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) student, won 2nd place in the Spoken Word Poetry Competition during the PCO Community Campus Caravan on October 25, 2024, at Heritage Hotel in Pasay City.
Representing Region I, Boado placed 2nd among 11 participants from different Higher Education Institutions in the country. She was helped by Hannah Melody Vega and Dixter Pedronion in crafting her piece. Ms. Henesse Castillones, a BTLEd faculty member, accompanied her. The event was organized by the Presidential Communications Office to foster community engagement among students nationwide. (By Renz E. Ferrera)
