Dr. Sonia B. Siago, Director for Library Services and Development, led a Library Services Awareness Session during the meeting on academic matters which was held at the International Convention Center (ICC), North La Union Campus (NLUC), Bacnotan, La Union, on October 14, 2024.
In her presentation, Dr. Siago highlighted the wide range of library services available to support the university’s academic and research goals. The session aimed to inform and engage attendees, which include Deans, Program Chairs, and Directors, on how the library’s resources can be better utilized to enhance teaching, learning, and research across various programs.
Dr. Siago emphasized the importance of maximizing the available digital resources and demonstrated the effective use of eJournals for students, faculty, and researchers. She encouraged the academic community to take full advantage of these tools to elevate the quality of research output and support scholarly activities.
