DMMMSU President, Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr., presided over the oathtaking ceremony of the newly hired, rehired, and promoted contractual and regular teaching and nonteaching personnel on September 10 at the North La Union Campus, the Mid La Union Campus, and the Open University System. A subsequent ceremony was held on September 11 at the South La Union Campus on September 11, 2024.  

During the event, the Human Resource Management Officers underscored the importance of the undertaking which serves to remind the personnel of their duties and reinforce awareness of existing policies related to career advancement.

President Jaime I. Manuel, Jr. not only administered the oath of office but also delved into the University’s promotion policies. He highlighted DMMMSU’s mission as a Higher Education Institution (HEI) committed to research and extension. He encouraged the personnel to align their efforts with this institutional focus, particularly in light of the CHED-DBM Joint Circular No. 3, series of 2022, which provides guidelines for career growth and professional development.
