On July 18, 2024, a delegation from Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) paid a visit to Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC), specifically the College of Information Technology (CIT) for a benchmarking activity. The delegation included administrators, faculty members, and staff from ISAT U’s Computer Department.

Dr. Tracy N. Tacuban, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, led the delegation, and their purpose was to gain insights into the facilities, academic programs, research initiatives, and technological projects at DMMMSU-MLUC’s CIT and the implementation of Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives. Their ultimate goal is to leverage these insights to enhance and improve their existing practices at ISAT U.

The group received a warm welcome from MLUC Chancellor, Dr. Eduardo C. Corpuz, DMMMSU-MLUC CIT personnel, and other campus heads. DMMMSU-MLUC CIT gladly showcased their best practices, different approaches, and successful methodologies, and provided the visiting delegation with a comprehensive tour of the computer laboratory facilities, fostering a fruitful exchange of knowledge and expertise.
