DMMMSU-SLUC’s College of Arts and Sciences hosted this year’s International Research Colloquium in the Biological Sciences from April 29 to 30, 2024, via Zoom. The activity is in partnership with the University of Eastern Finland (Kupio, Finland), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (Indonesia), Universitas PGRI Semarang (Indonesia), and Urdaneta City University (Philippines).
The colloquium aims to bring together researchers from various countries to share their latest findings, develop collaborative research efforts in the field of Biological Sciences, and provide a platform for the discussion of current advancements and future directions in the said field.
Dr. Raquel D. Quiambao, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), welcomed all participants and briefly outlined the key topics covered during the colloquium.
Afterward, Prof. Dan Vergel M. Masiong, the BS Biology Program Chair, gave an overview of the activity during the opening program. He also gave the specific objectives of the webinar and provided points to level off the participants’ expectations.
