Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University Mid La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC) was recognized by the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology as one of the top 10 schools in the country for its exceptional achievement in the February 2024 Licensure Examination for Criminologists. In the February 2024 licensure examination, DMMMSU recorded a passing rate of 86.21%.

The awarding ceremonies coincided with the Oathtaking Ceremony, which took place at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), particularly at the Plenary Hall, located in the CCP Complex on Roxas Blvd., Pasay City, on April 13, 2024.
