These initiatives focus on promoting inarching technology for rambutan and bio-N technology for plant growth enhancement.
Present at the signing were Honorable Pablito Benjamin P. Maggay II, the Mayor of LGU-Cervantes, and Dr. Emerita D. Galiste, the Director for DMMMSU Director for Extension.

LGU-Cervantes will identify potential beneficiaries, such as rambutan and corn farmers, farmers’ organizations, and cooperatives, providing essential facilities, venues, and resources for project-related activities. Conversely, DMMMSU will spearhead the implementation of the extension projects, aligning them with the approved Operational Plans for 2023-2025. They will supply the necessary materials for project-related activities, serve as resource speakers, and, when necessary, invite experts to contribute to seminars and hands-on training related to the extension projects. Additionally, DMMMSU commits to submitting reports or terminal reports to LGU-Cervantes.
Expressing optimism about the collaboration, Mayor Maggay highlighted its potential to significantly benefit local farmers and the entire municipality.
