Three university students from the three Campuses of DMMMSU secured the top three places in the Oratorical Contest during the Provincial celebration of the 34th National Statistics Month.
SLUC’s Anie Sophia P. Garlejo, a BSE-English fourth-year student, emerged as the Champion. Under the guidance of her coach, Ms. Abelynn T. Llarenas, Ms. Garlejo delivered a compelling oration that captivated the judges. She will advance to the Regional Level Oratorical Competition.
Meanwhile, Mr. Wendell B. Lopez of MLUC demonstrated his flair for oratory and secured the second-place. His coach was Mr. Dannilyn U. Macato.
Not to be outshone, NLUC’s Denver Q. Almoite, a second-year BSE English student, got the third place. He was mentored by Ms. Jezzel G. Cabanban.
Bringing home another gold for DMMMSU, Clint Harvey Garcillan of SLUC’s Laboratory High School, was also declared Champion at the secondary level competition. He was coached by Ms. Erwina Tadifa. Mr. Garcillan will also advance to the Regional Oratorical Competition.
DMMMSU eagerly anticipates the results of the upcoming Regional Level competition, where these talented students are poised to shine. (By Ayu)
