On September 20, 2023, the College of Education-NLUC celebrated its 13th Foundation Anniversary at the Ortega Memorial Center. This was anchored in the theme “Upholding Excellence in Teacher Education toward Internalization.”
The event commenced with a Color Run organized by the BPED faculty members. The event also covered various activities and contests, including Vocal Solo, Pop Solo.
One of the highlights of the event was the “Mini Miss U.” Jaedynn Mykaela Bautista won Mini Miss U. Megan Miel Licudine secured the 1st Runner-Up, and Chelsea Dweine Calica claimed the 2nd Runner-Up. Princess Lorraigne Nacionales was the 3rd Runner-Up, followed by Bianca Cassidy Partible (4th Runner-Up.)
Meanwhile, the “Search for Mr. and Ms. CE” and a Cultural Show took place on the second day. Trixie Joyce A. Bernales, a Grade 11 student, won the Miss CE title, and Juhn Eric T. Pablo, BPED 2, claimed the Mr. CE title. Both Judelle Corpuz and Renz Gian Fabian were the 1st runners-up. Denver Almoite and Nhicole Chatherine Trasmeras, were the 2nd Runners-up, and Mike Jayson Lucina and Judylyn Aquino were the 3rd Runners-Up. (By RMVerganio)
