DMMMSU has just been bestowed with Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Bronze Award Maturity Level II, marking another milestone in the University’s commitment to excellence in human resource management.
The good news was sent to President Jaime I. Manuel, Jr. through a letter by Dir. Hedy Jose B. Lardizabal dated August 1. Along with the letter is a copy of Civil Service Commission (CSC) Resolution No. 2300639 dated July 28, 2023.
In his letter, Dir. Lardizabal expressed his hopes that DMMMSU will continue to maintain the status under PRIME-HR Maturity Level 2 and continue to further improve DMMMSU’s HRM systems to meet the indicators for the next higher level distinction. Dir. Lardizabal further assured that CSC will continue to monitor DMMMSU’s compliance and render continuous technical assistance related to HRM endeavour.
The PRIME-HRM (Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management) Award, a coveted recognition in the education sector, acknowledges institutions that demonstrate exceptional proficiency in the management of their human resources, fostering a culture of meritocracy, transparency, and efficiency.
Meanwhile, President Manuel expressed his gratitude to the entire DMMMSU community. He lauded the collective efforts of faculty members, HRMOs, staff, and administrators for their dedication to excellence, which has resulted in this well-deserved accolade. Foremost, he dedicates the said award to the late Vice President for Administration, Dr. Estrella N. Perez, who has just gone to the Lord. President Manuel and the rest of DMMMSU community acknowledge the efforts and dedication of Dr. Perez in spearheading the PRIME-HRM accreditation of the University. President Manuel especially mentioned that Dr. Perez, worked beyond office hours to comply all the requirements for the said award.
DMMMSU’s remarkable accomplishment comes as a result of its tireless dedication to enhancing its human resource practices and elevating its workforce standards. The university’s unwavering commitment to cultivating a conducive and dynamic work environment has played a pivotal role in attaining this distinguished honor.
