DMMMSU held a ceremony to celebrate the completion of the New Central Administration Building at Raois, Bacnotan, La Union on February 8, 2023. The celebration coincided with the first day of Dr. Jaime I. Manuel, Jr.’s second term as President of DMMMSU.

A Thanksgiving Mass was offered followed by the blessing of offices. In his speech, President Manuel solicited the support of University and Campus Officials who attended the ceremony.  

Mr. Joseph Valmonte, Mr. Neri Valmonte, and Mr. Marlon Dalit, after the inauguration rites, signed the recognition of the perfected sale of parcels of land to DMMMSU – a gesture of their commitment to helping maintain peace and establish projects that benefit the community.

The three-storey building will house the Office of the President, the Vice President for Administration, the Vice President for Planning and Resource Development, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the Central Administration personnel.

By the side of the said building, a corridor that connects to the soon-to-rise Research and Extension Building will be constructed. Surrounding the New Central Building are spacious parking area, and open space landscape/park.
