The University Research and Extension officials and research and extension enthusiasts pooled together during the University and Extension Day at the BPAA Complex on the afternoon of January 17, 2023, to showcase various technologies.

The various technologies or products presented during the pitching series include the following: 1) Ready-to-Eat Fish Products, 2) Dehydrated Candied Mulberry Fruit, 3) Hand Tractor-Driven Onion Harvester, 4) Solar Sea Salt, 5) Microcontroller-based Circuit Interrupter, and 6) PLC-Based Purified Water Drinking Station. Part of the URE Day was the selection of the Best R&E Booth.

Engr. Rosalinda L. Abad won the Best Technology Pitcher for her “DMMMSU Onion Harvester” while the North La Union Campus won the Best R&E Booth. (Ayu)
