The North La Union Campus celebrated Alumni and Retirees’ Day at the International Convention Center on January 18, 2023.
The said activity is one of the highlights of the 42nd DMMMSU Foundation Anniversary. The event aims to recognize the contributions of alumni and retirees in the realization of the mission and vision of the University.
Fire Chief Superintendent Leonida Gumanab Rosales, BS Agroforestry 1991 alumna, served as the Guest Speaker. She shared her journey in the university and recognized the contributions of DMMMSU in the fulfillment of her career.
In his message, NLUC Chancellor, Dr. Junifer Rey E. Tabafunda expressed his gratitude for the all-support of the alumni and retirees in the undertakings of the University.
“This activity is intended and dedicated to the men and women in the past years without whom DMMMSU would not have become what it is now. Their success is also the success of the University,” Chancellor Tabafunda said.
Meanwhile, in a short exchange, Mr. Raymund A. Sanchez, NLUC OIC- Head of Alumni Affairs, expressed his joy for the success of the event:
“The number of alumni and retirees who attended in this activity after 2 years of hiatus is overwhelming. This signifies the strong network between DMMMSU and its alumni and retirees.
