Twenty (20) 3rd year and 4th BS in Hospitality Management students were invited by the Department of Tourism Regional Office I (DOTR-R1) to serve as ushers during the First National Surfing Summit held last October 26-29, 2022 at the Agora Events Center of the Thunderbird Resorts, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The students assisted the DOTR-R1 in welcoming the delegates coming from across the Philippines as well as the speakers from Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Also present to grace the Summit was William Vincent “Vinny” A. Marcos, son of the President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos.
